First of all I want to congratulate everyone who participated in the competition on Saturday. The amount of effort and pure heart displayed was indescribable. I want to thank all people who volunteered their time and everyone who came to support.  photo.JPGphoto.JPGphoto.JPG


If you were in the competition I would give yourself one more day, your central nervous system was put through the ringer and so was your liver if you enjoyed the after party.

    I apologize in advance for the length of this post. Thank you so much Dan and everyone for such an incredible day. The energy yesterday was full of support and strength. It was an honor working out with all these incredible women and men. I am not really into competing unless it is with myself. While I was out of my comfort zone initially, that all changed the second i saw everyone smiling, encouraging, screaming and cheering. To everyone who cheered and supported, thank you so much and I hope to see you participating next year. Its all about you and doing YOUR best. Keri, you were amazing! Keri wasn’t sure she could clean 95 pounds and she did! many times. with a hurt back she pushed through wods 2 and 3 until her jump rope broke. The whole time she worked hard with integrity and a smile when possible. That’s what this was about! Seeing everyone watch d1 kill the double under wod was amazing. Us 6amers get to see it all the time. Thank you judges, counters, the incredible DJ/announcer Lex and scorekeeper Greta Linsanity.
    OD and Lara, delicious food!
    Congratulations to everyone who was a part of this and especially Dan for creating this community.
    It will be a while until i can move properly again but it was a blast!

      It really was an amazing day! I feel honored to have participated in the event. I can’t move, but well worth it. I have been looking at pictures all day.I am looking forward to doing it again next year and I’ll be working towards getting even stronger!Congratulations to everyone.

    Felt really good to be back this morning. Finally no more sickness!

    Farmers Walks @ 160#, 200#, 260#, 300# (total weight)

    WOD was great for conditioning. Working on efficient rowing was the key and really helped w/ focus. HSPU were fine and unbroken.

    20 Bar Muscle-Ups

    *Strict 20 minute time limit.

    Got to the KB Snatches and completed 15 reps before the 20:00 mark.
    then got up and finished the workout in just under 30 mins. Great way to start off the week.

    farmers carry: 200#, 300#, 300# (had to let go 10 feet short of the 25 yards on the way back)
    wod: hspu 1 ab mat (failed locking out on the 5th hspu two times )

    I came in dead last on Saturday but I had a great time, met more great people from different class times, and after it was all done I was just happy with the fact I was better than the previous wod.
